👑 Queen’s Staircase – A Hidden Gem in Nassau

Tucked away in the heart of Nassau, the Queen’s Staircase is one of the Bahamas’ most iconic historical landmarks. Carved out of solid limestone by enslaved Bahamians in the late 18th century, the 66 steps (originally 66, now 65 due to road leveling) were named in honor of Queen Victoria, who reigned during the abolition of slavery in the British Empire.
